When I used to compose email, I had a toolbar on top with smiley faces, bold type, etc. Where did it go?

I don't have a tool bar at all on top of my compose box. The compose box itself has gotten rather small. I really miss putting the smiley faces on my emails. Can anyone help?

Reply:If you upgraded to the New mail----there is a link on the composing page, at (or near) the subject line-----"Rich Text or Plain Text"----that will enable or disable that formatting bar.

With Classic-----You may just need to enable the bar.

Mail page%26gt;%26gt;options (top right)%26gt;%26gt;then scroll to and click on "general preferences".

Now go down to *Composing Emails* and check the button by ---"compose with color and graphics"-----then click "save" at bottom of page.
