If you have already clicked Send, the original email has already gone. However, it may have saved a copy in the Sent folder. If so, you can open it, and Fwd it to the next recipient that you want to send it to. (If you do that, it is a good idea to remove the "Fwd" notation at the beginning of the subject line.)

My mail had a java script warning and reconfigured my email. How do I reset it? Lost ability to compose mail?
I can't compose messages, I've lost all the options that were originally on the left side for folders and sent/drafts/trash emails. Not sure how to reconfigure as nothing obvious seems to work. Does this once in awhile but restarting the computer normally fixes the problem....not this time. Any help appreciated as I really need in some of those folders. thx

I have all the appropriate boxes checked that indicate I should compose all emails in Outlook with Word editor. When I compose mail from scratch this is fine but when I reply to some emails (presumably they originated it in Rich/Plain text) my auto-correct/Word editor no longer works. I've selected HTML from the drop-down box and I've tried cutting and pasting the email chain into a new window and matching destination. Even this "shuts off" sometimes and is inconsistent. Please help.

I'm not so sure it's a server problem. I can do it when I copy a photo from my ACDsee program but not when I select it out of my pics.

Use to do internet tech support and it sounds like a program error. You can try deleting and recreating the account in your email program but if that doesn't work you will need to take the program off and reload it. Hope that helps

I received a picture e-mail, and could not open it yesterday. There are red diamonds in the top left corner of the boxes. I click on them and the whole box just turns blue. I think I have a setting problem........HELP?

This only happens in firefox- IE is OK. The page opens with all the 'send to' details but the space for my message to be written has disappeared. If I bring a message from draft the contact details appear but the message has vanished. I can not add files as attachments either.

Can we compose email with previous date?
Someone told me that now we can create(compose) emails with previous dates. Is this really possible? I mean can we compose an email with date 22-01-2002?

I don't think we can. The date in our E-mail is generated by the Mail Server not by our computer.

You can. I've done it. But the newest versions of Yahoo have done it, and only them. Just do it as u normally would- highlight the pic, select copy, and paste it onto the email. Maybe you need to update your Yahoo.

I've only seen this happen a few times, and every time it has to do with the screen being the wrong size, or else the e-mail message window is so large that you have to scroll to the left or the right in order to view it.

What I would try, if I was working on your computer, is go to some web page with a lot of text, highlight everything, copy it, and then go to the body of your e-mail message. Click in the window. Might be a problem going on there. Then I would make certain all Windows updates are in place.

Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. My email was working fine, but recently I get a long "loading" tab and nothing ever opens when I hit reply or compose. If I go into my firewall settings and turn it off both of these mail options work again. I have not changed anything about my internet security.

But when I compose an email... the only way I can find to add an image is to click on "attachment" which just opens the image in a program.

Do you mean internal mail, like replying to someone else's email message on Yahoo? Make sure you select "click here to reply to this message" not the main email button - if you use that one, it won't automatically insert the address.

How do I compose an email with an image without using "attachment" which just gives you a link to click on
I know it can be done... I receive them all the time.
When I open an email... I click "Show images" and the images are there with the type.
But when I compose an email... the only way I can find to add an image is to click on "attachment" which just opens the image in a program.
I want it... ALL TOGETHER... like a normal persons email. Am I..... ABnormal??? heeeelp!

Do you mean internal mail, like replying to someone else's email message on Yahoo? Make sure you select "click here to reply to this message" not the main email button - if you use that one, it won't automatically insert the address.

My windows live /hotmail has a bar on the right of my emails when i reply/compose an email. how do i remove it?
when i compose/ reply to an email on my windows live/ hotmail account. I have a panel to the right of where i type. It says "quick add" with options such as, images, videos, movie times ect. It gets in the way of my message because it overlaps it. I would like to remove this pesky thing. dont know how to though.

I am using Win XP Professional Service Pack 2. The text in my Yahoo compose mail is very tiny.
Can anyone tell me how to I set the default to normal size text. My resolution is set to 1024 x 768.

Can anyone tell me how to I set the default to normal size text. My resolution is set to 1024 x 768.

Text in Yahoo Email Compose Text is Tiny?
Click the Aa Font Size button on Compose screen.
Default would be your PC Browsers setting. Click View on Menu Bar. Text Size.
I can receive and compose email but can't send, its my computer cause my computer at work sends ok.?
What email program are you using? Or are you using a web based platform such as yahoo mail or gmail?

You may have the new yahoo if you do look on the left side of your email page at the top under you red Yahoo you will see "Check Mail" "New" click on the new and that is your compose button now. Hope this helps!!!

Which browser are you using.. though the problem shouldn't be there whatever browser you might be using.. still try using some other browser.

Where it says "Composing E-mails check the button that says "Compose messages as color and graphics". Scroll down and click "Save". You might have to refresh or close and reopen the page to see the formatting toolbar, but it will most likely be there after you click on "Compose".

All I get is sender/recipient/subject, and the icon to attach files!
This is seriously debilitating for me. Any suggestions?

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send receive delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

Why the text message box is disappear in my mail box when I reply or compose a email?
When i reply a email, or start a new email, there is no message box that allows me to write message. Only address and subject bar is available. Do you know why? How can it be fixed?

The paragraph box is not appearing when I need to compose an email. Can someone tell me what I need to do?
Everytime I try to send a new email or reply to an email, I can't. The only thing that appears is an address, subject block, and a block to click on for attached files.

I am trying to attach a file to and email and it either says it has to be 10mb or less (or something like that) or I can't figure out how to get back to the compose screen to send it.

Isn't there a box that says "continue to message" in the upperleft corner? Above the words that say "attach files"? (Yahoo compose, that is ).
You click on that, you will return to the compose screen, your attached files will be listed, write a little message if necessary, and then you click on "send".

Here鈥檚 how to do it:
Click Attach Files鈥攊t鈥檚 below Subject:.
In the window that opens, click Browse to find and select the file or photo you want.
When you've got it, click it, then click Open.
Click Attach Files again to inititate the upload of the file.
Once the upload is completed, click the Continue to Message button.
Repeat these steps to attach more files.
