Why isn't there a box where I can compose email?

When I hit compose email, It sends me to the page but there is no area that allows me to compose anything. All I can do is enter the emails. How can I change this?

If the compose box on your Yahoo! mail box isn't showing up, you can usually get it back quickly and easily by clicking on Options in the upper right corner of your inbox, then on General Preferences. In the "Composing E-Mails" section, click on "Compose messages as plain text" and then click the save button in the left corner.

If that doesn't work or you need to get back the toolbar, you should try clearing the cache on your browser, scanning for viruses/spyware and/or restarting your computer. Reply:Try to clear your cookies and temporary internet files.


Do this on your Internet Explorer browser : Go to TOOLS (upper left hand corner), INTERNET OPTIONS, General Tab -- temporary internet files section - there will be a button for Delete Cookies and Delete Files. Wait for the hour glass to go away. Then hit apply then ok. Close and reopen browser.
