when i compose/ reply to an email on my windows live/ hotmail account. I have a panel to the right of where i type. It says "quick add" with options such as, images, videos, movie times ect. It gets in the way of my message because it overlaps it. I would like to remove this pesky thing. dont know how to though.
My windows live /hotmail has a bar on the right of my emails when i reply/compose an email. how do i remove it?
Your problem sounds like a rendering issue. Windows Live Mail is best optimized for Internet Explorer 7, therefore, other browsers may experience display issues especially while the service is still in it's beta stages. I do not see any display issues when using the latest version of Firefox and Internet Explorer 7. I don't have other browsers on this PC so I can't attest to how well they render the page.
There is currently no option to disable the "Quick Add" feature, but if you use Firefox you can use extensions to remove that field. Below is a link to a site that provides details about the extension for Firefox as well as how to configure the extension to remove the "Quick Add" pane.
