When I go to compose my email there is no box to compose email in. How do I correct this?

It's there, but your browser may not display it correctly, switch back to plain text...

. Options %26gt; General Preferences %26gt; scroll down to "Composing E-mails" %26gt; switch from "Compose messages as color and graphics" to "Compose messages as plain text"
