In compose email address no longer pops up after first 2 letters?

In compose I used to be able to type in the first two letters in the "to" box and a list of emails addresses with those letters would show up for me to select. Recently this has stopped working. How can I fix this problem? This function still works on my son's email address.

This function seems to have gone on the "fritz" in some accounts, since Yahoo did some recent updating on the original mail page----and they also removed the option (in preferences) to enable it. They'll probably fix it sooner or later--------BUT----in the meantime, try this way of inserting addresses.

With the New Mail---same as above, except click "OK" to insert them.
