There is a error message in lower left hand corner of email box
Why can I not compose email in color or change font?
Try changing it in your Options.
Click on the "Options" link in the upper right of your Yahoo Mail Page.
Click on "General Preferences."
Go down Composing E-Mails and check the box next to "Compose messages as color and graphics."
Go to the bottom of the page and click "Save."
