How do I change the background color on Yahoo when I compose an email.?

When I compose a letter in Yahoo on my laptop, the background of the text is white, but if I go to my father in law's computer and try to compose a letter on the same Yahoo account, the background of the text is bright blue. (Text is black) I want to change it for him since you can barely read the text, back to the white background but I can't figure it out, Please Help!!

How do I change the background color on Yahoo when I compose an email.?
First of all make sure to ask your father in law if he would like you to change the settings on his computer. Once permission is given you can change the settings on the computer itself if that is where the problem is stemming from. You may need to change the settings in yahoo itself from that computer but if you have already tried that this may work. Go to the start menu, settings, control panel, display. Once you have the window up click on the Appearance tab and change the settings so the windows appear with a reasonable color scheme.

Is it only on yahoo that this occurs?
Reply:There is a toolbar across the top of the message box, maybe you've already tried it?

It has options to change font colors, types styles and sizes. Also, at the end of the toolbar click on Stationery to choose a white background.
